본 규정은 환경영향평가학회의 효율적인 연구 및 편집 활동을 증진함을 목적으로 한다. This regulation on the Editorial Board is to promote research and editing activities efficiently.

편집위원장은 학회 편집이사가 역할을 맡으며, 부위원장을 선임할 수 있다. The editor director of KSEIA shall be served as an Editor and some Vice-editor may be appointed by Editor-in-chief.

편집위원의 자격은 본 학회 회원으로서 이사 이상인 자로 하며 환경관련 전문분야에서 5년 이상의 경력을 가진 자로 한다. The Editorial Board members should be one of society's directors with a membership and bequalified with more than five year career in a professional field of the environment.

편집위원후보는 편집위원장이 추천하여, 학회장의 동의를 거쳐 확정한다. 편집위원의 수는 15-40인으로 하며 전공분야와 거주지를 고려하여 선임한다. 편집위원의 임기는 2년으로 하되 연임할 수 있다. The Editor-in-Chief shall recommend candidates of editorial board, who are finally confirmed by the President of KSEIA. The number of the editorial board member should be up to fifteen to forty and the configuration of the board members should be appointed by considering expert fields and residential locations. The term of a member shall be 2 years and be extended.

편집위원으로 선정된 자는 이력서 및 최근 2년간 연구업적을 학회에 제출하여야 한다. A person who is selected as the editorial board members should submit his/her resume andresearch achievements of the last two years.

편집위원회의 운영에 관한 규정 및 기타 관련사항은 편집회의에서 의결한다. Editorial meetings will make decisions regarding regulations on the operation of the Editorial Boardand other relevant details.

학회지 및 도서 출판 등을 위한 편집회의는 월1회씩 개최하는 것을 원칙으로 하되, on-line 회의를 할 수 있다. The editorial board meetings for publishing journal and books shall be held monthly and can be undergone online.

편집회의에서는 원고작성방법, 저자투고지침, 논문심사규정 및 연구윤리규정 등을 심의확정하며 이 규정에 따라 투고논문의 학회지 성격과의 적합성여부, 논문심사위원의 선정, 편집과 교정 및 기타 이사회에서 위촉된 편집관련 안건을 결정한다. The editorial board meetings will deliberate and confirm Manuscript submission guidelines, Instruction to Authors, Judgment regulation, and Ethical Codes for Researcher. According to these regulations and guidelines the editorial board will make decisions about suitability of submitted manuscripts, appointment of reviewers, editing and corrections, and other editing-related matters mandated by the Directors Council of KSEIA.

편집회의의 의사결정은 다수결을 원칙으로 한다. 특별히 투표가 필요한 사안에 대해서는 정족수인 재적위원의 과반수 이상 출석에 과반수 이상의 찬성으로 결정한다. Decision of editorial meetings is made to the principle of majority. When vote is required for a particular issue, a majority vote of the members present is required with the quorum of a majority of members registered.

편집간사는 편집회의 진행에 대한 의사록을 작성하여야 한다. A managing editor must record the minutes for the editorial board meetings.

논문심사위원은 전문분야별 편집위원의 추천을 받아 편집위원장이 위촉하며, 특별한 경우 편집위원회를 개최하여 결정할 수 있다. 편집위원장이 저자로 된 논문은 다른 편집위원이 심사위원을 선정하여야 한다. Reviewers shall be selected by Editor-in-chief through recommendations from the specialized members of editorial board or can be determined by an editorial board meeting in a special case. As for the manuscript which the editor-in-chief is one of the author, the other editorial board member should appoint reviewers.

논문심사위원은 해당 분야 전문가로 선정하며, 논문저자와의 지역적 연계성, 소속학교, 전공을 고려하여 투고논문을 공정하게 심사할 수 있도록 위촉하여야 한다. Reviewers selected based on their expertise must be appointed under consideration of academic school, major specialty, and regional background between author and reviewers for the fair evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

논문심사위원은 심사결과를 편집위원회에 통보하고, 필요한 경우 편집위원회를 경유하여 투고자와 서면으로 의사교환을 할 수 있다. Reviewers must report the reviewing result of a manuscript to the editorial board. When it is needed, reviewers can have a written communication with the authors
